Training - Welcoming immigrant women who are victims of domestic violence. Getting Started

 

The purpose of this workshop is to educate support workers in all areas about the different issues that arise when a woman from an immigrant background is experiencing domestic violence.

Objective of the workshop:

- To learn about the domestic violence issues and the possible challenges related to the immigration process.

- To familiarize yourself with the reality of women from immigrant families who are victims of domestic violence.

- Acquire skills in intercultural interventions.

Process of making a complaint

The person responsible for receiving complaints

The administration is responsible for receiving complaints, and can conduct an investigation with the victim and the person(s) involved. Following the investigation, they may refer the complaint to the Board of Directors who will ensure that the complaint is handled.

Procedure for submitting a complaint

All complaints must be sent by e-mail to the following address

The victim's right to be informed of the outcome of the complaint

The victim will be informed of the outcome of the complaint by email.

The period for processing a complaint

The maximum time for processing a complaint is 30 days

Mécanisme de plainte

La personne responsable de la réception des plaintes

La direction est responsable de la réception des plaintes, elle pourra effectuer une enquête auprès de la personne victime et de la ou des personne(s) impliquées. Suite à l’enquête, elle pourra transmettre la plainte au Conseil d’administration qui s’assurera du traitement de la plainte.

La procédure pour présenter une plainte

Toute plainte doit être transmise par courriel à l’adresse suivante :

Le droit de la personne victime d’être informée de l’issue de la plainte

La personne victime sera informée de l’issue de sa plainte par courriel.

Le délai de traitement d’une plainte

Le délai maximal pour le traitement de la plainte est de 30 jours.
